I give questionable recipes an honest try.
Honest Try: Lazy Man's Omelette
How lazy is Jack's "Lazy Man Omelette"? Is it actually MORE work for less quality? Let's pit two omelettes against each other:
My "normal" omelette vs Jack's "lazy" one.

Today we're doing YET ANOTHER request. Cooking with Jack's "Lazy Man Orange Chicken." I may not be the best choice for this one because I only ever eat Orange Chicken once in a blue moon, but let's give it a go anyhow! Music used is from Donkey Kong Country 3.

Honest Try: Argentina

I tried to chronicle my trip to Argentina. We went to a lot of places and tried lots of things, though we did not actually film every moment. It may surprise you, but I am not someone that is used to filming myself doing everything. Never been a selfie guy either, so it's still kind of strange to me. That said, I hope you enjoy this small slice of my personal life. I am so grateful that you guy...
Honest Try: Jack's "Lazy Man's Lava Cake"

Music used was from Super Mario World from SNES. Outro music was from my band "Marmot" and is called "The Wolf and I". Honest Try: Shoyu Ramen

Doing something a little different today. Instead of a strange or seemingly gross recipe, I decided to try my hand at an easy ramen recipe I came across while making a meal plan for the week. I hope you enjoy! :) Music used is from Bushido Blade 2.
Honest Try: Kay's "Special Fried Rice"

Honest Try: KingCobra's "Jalapeño Mountain Dew Hard Boiled Eggs"
Переглядів 10 тис.Рік тому
Today we're doing another request in these trying times. 🙏 It's KingCobra's "Jalapeño Mountain Dew Hardboiled Eggs." Music is for my fellow taffers. From: Thief: The Dark Project Thief 2: The Metal Age Thief: Deadly Shadows.
Hearing you scoop the butter with the spoon made awful scratching noises. Listening to it was basically torture. Needed a mercy mute definitely.
I freaking love cheese but this is too much even for me.
Nice Minecraft music in the background.
You honestly made it look not half bad…jacks just had me nauseous.
Anything that has “garbage” in the name does not inspire appetite
What did those eggs smell like after being boiled in the Ziploc bags?
god - I am scared for your health at this point... you are a BRAVE man!
I've noticed that you're not daring to try Jack's chicken recipes
check out DELUXE PIZA by paul4608
A bit late on the comment, but the deep fried butter at the state faire you mentioned (at least, assuming it's the one in the midwest I am from and that there aren't multiple state fairs with the same food options. You didn't mention it being on a stick, so I'm not 100% certain) was alright. It tasted like salted butter and batter as you would expect and I had to share it with friends to avoid an instant heart attack. At least they didn't put a bunch of powdered sugar on it like the deep fried candy bars.
You are boiling that steak. Dap it off before tossing it in, higher heat and less cooking liquids.
In terms of recipes with absurd amounts of garlic, there is one from an cookbook from the 60s for "Chicken with 40 Cloves of Garlic" and that title is very literal. The difference is that it uses a whole chicken and pretty much slow cook it, which mellows out the garlic a lot. The pickling could, in theory have kind of a similar effect, but this just seems like a guy who really likes garlic got in over his head.
I get some real "early Mr. Sausage/Ordinary Sausage" vibes from this. Enjoyed your content prior to this, love that you're back. Hope you and your wonderful wife succeed at this. One thing, a cooking suggestion: generally a good idea to add the mix-ins to the omelette earlier than what you did, unless your mix-ins are pre-cooked or you specifically want your mix-ins relatively uncooked. If the latter is what you were going for, ignore what I said. 20:42 "Magnificent". Oh yeah, she's a keeper.
Please do Jack’s brisket chili. You will have to leave the brisket in your freezer for a year for accuracy ofc
the biggest crime about this recipe to me is that orange sauce is really easy to make, especially if you already have all the ingredients (which is pretty likely, you can substitute rice wine vinegar with apple cider vinegar- it isn't quite the same, but it's pretty close)
I'm pretty sure you need more garlic.
Someone please tell Jack that you don't sous vide an omelette... XD
Have you try his signature garbage stew?
Commenting to bless your algorithm, brother. Always happy to see you upload!
I always put the meat and veg into the egg mixture, I didn’t know some people add it afterwards.
lime is a wonderfull fruit lime jell-o is the nastiest most disgusting dessert ever conceived in human history
Try one of his carnivore recipes 🥴
I'll do a "carnivore friendly" recipe this week.
August bought ne here lol
Boiled ziploc plastic meal no thanks lol
Just cook the pasta al dente, while doing so cut the mozzarella in slices, put them on the pasta when done, add a bit of tomato sauce on top so the mozzarella melts a bit from the heat from both sides, season it, and you have something resembling a lazy man's pasta caprese in 10 minutes with those ingredients and it's going to taste a lot better.
YESSSSS HONEST BACK AT IT AGAINNN!!. Was not expecting to see this colostomy bag omelette looking thing while having dinner but alright
Jack (and you) didn’t add cheese-which you noted. For me, that’s an essential part of a great omelette.
Did you get a new stove or were you able to get all the paint off?
Sometimes I feel the "lazy man" dishes are meant to be fed to lazy people rather than to be made by them.
Somehow you found out how to make a video that's worse than Jack's. I'd eat anything that he made to not have to go through this again.
Well look who it is!
You're gonna need to de-microplast your balls after that meal so you don't get infertile lmao
your bravery is unmatched sir
I’m in no way a fan of Jack’s, but to be fair you boiled the eggs and he did a sous vide. Huge difference.
I am Jack's complete lack of suprise.
I don't want to watch that plastic monstruosity ever again!
My go-to lazy egg meal: four eggs cracked in a plastic container. stir with fork. microwave on high, 90 seconds. Stir with fork. Microwave for another minute or two until it forms a puffy patty. Consume.
The legend has returned!!
Honestly, on paper, this could be edible. Peanut butter, bacon, and banana wrapped in a pie crust sounds like a decent sweet + savory hybrid dessert. Cobra just goes too far and ruins it with the wad of pepperoni and excess of added sugars (chocolate, brown sugar, etc)
welcome back!! just visited your channel a few days ago and thought you were done!!! stoked
They make special bags for boiling food in. Imagine they'd work better than a melting ziplock, lol. But I don't know why you'd want to do this if frying is an option. I've only seen this done by people who are camping. And even then, it's usually more for large groups, like a scouts outing or something. It's convenient for that sort of thing, but there doesn't seem to be a point to doing it at home for a couple of people. Like you said, it's not like it saves time or clean up, really. Might as well go for the method that tastes better!
He lives!
Always awesome to see your videos!!! Keep it up man!
I always mix my ingredients in WITH the egg before pouring it into the pan, and now I'm wondering if I've been doing it wrong the whole time, haha. At least it doesn't have plastic in it, I guess.
Nah, not wrong, you can make them either way. :) And either way it's got to taste better than a boiled one, lol
Fry the ingredients of the omelette in a separate pan. And season the eggs before you whisk them. It makes for a much better meal! ;)
when it comes to my omelettes I simply will not eat them without molten plastic inside, yum yum yum plastic in my tum as they say.
ok but why would you leave a lot of air in the bag then burp it after a few minutes of boiling when you could just.... not?
I'd love to wake up an extra hour early to boil my omelets. I guess I'm just a lazy guy
I was just wishing you'd post a new video last week! Great one dude.
Put a lid on it!!!
